Monthly Coffee Meetings
We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. except in November and December when the meeting is held on the 2nd Tuesday.
Our meeting location is Trinity Presbyterian Church 5781 West Virginia Parkway.
Located about 3 miles west of Hwy 75 between Lake Forest and Ridge Road.
Once you arrive at the church, you'll be met by our friendly greeters, signed in and given a name tag. You'll also receive a packet containing information about the club including a copy of the current newsletter and membership form. Then you can circulate, meet our members, and help yourself to coffee, iced tea, juices, or perhaps a fruit tray or pastries. The selection varies from month to month, since volunteer Newcomers provide the refreshments.
After that, we sit down to listen to a speaker and hold our meeting. After the meeting ends, those who wish may join our "Birthday Bash Lunch." This is to recognize our "birthday girls" for that month, but everyone is welcome. We simply go to a local restaurant, which is announced at the meeting. It's a great way to continue the conversations and get to know people a little better. We try to end our meetings just before noon, so we can beat the "lunch crowd".
Prospective members may attend up to two coffee meetings, and receive two membership newsletters for free, before dues are payable! Dues are only $30.00 per club year, (September to August), but are prorated for new members joining after the first half of the year. However, membership dues must be fully paid up if you wish to participate in any Interest Group activities.
